1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Normi. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Normi Labs Ltd ("Normi," "we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of the Normi mobile application and related services.

By accessing or using Normi, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

Age Requirements:

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Normi
• If you are between 13 and 17, you must have your parent or legal guardian's consent to use the Service
• By using Normi as a minor (13-17), you confirm that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms

Parental Responsibility:

Parents or guardians who permit minors to use Normi accept full responsibility for the minor's use of the Service, including all financial charges, compliance with these Terms, and any consequences arising from the minor's activities.

Additional Requirements:

• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement (or have parental consent if a minor)
• You agree to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws

3. Account Registration and Security

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You may delete your account at any time through Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or behavior that harms other users.

4. Description of Service

Normi is a personal productivity app with an AI assistant that works with your own content. The Service enables you to:

• Upload documents and files (including PDFs, images, and other formats) and have their text extracted for search and AI use
• Ask an AI assistant questions answered from your own files, notes, and conversation history, with sources attached
• Create and organize notes, checklists, and reminders
• Organize your work into projects
• Optionally share a project with other people (up to 25 per project) and message them
• Use AI-powered features for research, writing, and productivity

We strive to provide continuous access but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with all devices. We may modify or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.

5. Subscription Plans and Payments

Free Trial: New accounts begin with a 3-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription will begin automatically and your payment method will be charged.

Billing Options: Each plan is available with monthly or annual billing. Annual plans save approximately 17% versus paying monthly.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed through the App Store or Google Play Store via RevenueCat.

iOS (App Store): Your Apple ID Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription or free trial in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Android (Google Play): Your Google Play Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions. Cancellation will take effect after the current billing period ends.

Refunds: Refund policies are governed by the respective app store terms.

6. User Content

"User Content" includes all content you create, upload, share, or transmit through the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content.

By submitting content, you grant us a license to store, process, display, and transmit it as directed by you.

You agree not to upload content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or offensive
• Infringes intellectual property rights
• Contains viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Is spam or unsolicited advertising
• Impersonates another person or entity
• Is sexually explicit, promotes violence, or encourages illegal activities

7. AI Features

By using AI features (powered by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google), you acknowledge:

• AI responses are generated by automated systems
• AI may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate content
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI outputs
• AI features are subject to usage limits based on your subscription

AI features should not be relied upon for medical, legal, financial, or professional advice.

You agree not to use AI features to generate illegal or harmful content, bypass safety measures, or engage in automated access beyond intended use.

8. Acceptable Use Policy

You may not:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Harass, bully, stalk, or threaten other users
• Send spam or unsolicited communications
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Circumvent usage limits or access controls
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, software, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Normi and protected by intellectual property laws.

If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact us at contact@normiapp.com with identification of the copyrighted work, infringing content, and your contact information.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION.

The Service, including AI features, does not provide professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.). We are not responsible for interactions between users.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NORMI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, OR ANY DAMAGES EXCEEDING THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Normi and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable laws.

14. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, please contact us at contact@normiapp.com to attempt informal resolution within 30 days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date and provide notice for material changes. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
